I think Kurt should be the one singing Let it Go, it just fits him more than Rachel.

…Rachel’s problem is that she did let it go. She let go of her fancy school, she let go of her Broadway career, and then she failed, utterly, at acting, because she’s a shit actor. She might try to start caring about NOT letting it go, and holding back some of her brattiness and doing some actual fucking work.

EVERY TIME SOMEONE BRINGS UP THE LIBRARY OF ALEXANDRIA I GET SO ANGRY.

but why

Because it got burned. All of that knowledge, lost forever.

The library was destroyed over 1000’s of years ago. The library consisted of thousands of scrolls and books about mathematics, engineering, physiology, geography, blueprints, medicine, plays, & important scriptures. Thinkers from all over the Mediterranean used to come to Alexandria to study. Most of the major work of civilization up until that point was lost. If the library still survived till this day, society may have been more advanced and we would sure know more about the ancient world.

I actually tell my students this all the time. Watch a kid learning how to walk, and don’t tell me that’s not hard. And you DID that. At one point, the hardest thing you could imagine was learning how to write your name. You don’t remember the struggle anymore, but you got through it and now you don’t even think about it. Now writing your name is considered the easiest thing we can ask you to do.

So don’t beat yourselves up too much. You’ve already done great things. You didn’t do them easily. You worked hard. Keep working hard, and you’ll do more great things. Promise.

The Things High Emotional Intelligence People Don't Do

relationshipadvice23:

We’ve all heard of it, and we all know what it is – for the most part, but sometimes we don’t really acknowledge it like we should. Your EQ, or emotional IQ is a lot easier to change than your IQ is, and thanks to that information, and some really great studies, the…

I don’t care what kind of blog I have I will blog this no matter what.

"Craving sensation: feeling unreal" was such a huge part of the beginning of my relapse. I was convinced that people in front of me didn’t even exist and I kept touching things and trying to feel sensation. I’m reblogging because I know that that was so horrifying for me and I never want anyone else to go through it.

In case someone needs to see this

Just in case this can help someone. Some suggestions also seem harmful (eating a hot pepper really hurts!!!) but steps to feeling better and not self harming is most important. Sending you love and light

STOP SCROLLING! Please reblog this vitally important information because at least one of your followers is self-harming. Thank you!

I need this

I’ve used some of these and they really do help! Reblogging forever simply because this could help save someone

Always,
always, ALWAYS REBLOG THIS. It is so important and you have no idea if someone browsing your blog needs it.

Rape Culture? What is this “Rape Culture” you speak of?Seriously though, this is terrifying. God forbid I wear a skirt outside — I’m just ASKING   to be raped if I do that.

Prince Harry and John Barrowman both do a mutual high five/ass slap combo omg

Can we just appreciate that John smacked Prince Harry’s royal ass so hard that the guy actually had to rub himself a little while John waves his hand

“In English,” Professor Austin said, “a double negative forms a positive. However, in some languages, such as Russian, a double negative remains a negative. But there isn’t a single language, not one, in which a double positive can express a negative.”

A voice from the back of the room piped up, “Yeah, right.”
